This guide is used to give any and all general info about claims, world settings affecting claims and general permissions in claims. Current to R55. Intro to ClaimsClaims are the most important tool added into the game. They allow you to protect a 64x64 plot of land and give out permissions to certain players and enable or disable certain settings within that claim. I shall be going in depth on every detail about a claim including granting permmissions and what each one does. How to Claim Your Choosen Plot of LandDepending on your world if you are in someone's public world follow their rules and make sure you claim however far away they want. When in the map just click on a space you wish and if you have PRO you can automatically claim 2 spaces if not the cost will be 20 coal. The claim prices follow as so; 20 coal, 40 obsidian bars, 80 Iron bars, 160 diamond bars, 320 lumite bars, and 320 arcstones x4. Should give a total of 10 claims unless you are PRO then 12, the rest you buy with coins which you buy from the store with irl currency. You get up to 40 total claims on your account. If you buy with coins the resource cost goes up to the next one so if you buy the coal required to get but you use coins it will move up to the obsidian bar one. If you are set to visitor for the world you cannot claim and will have to ask an admin or the owner to promote you to builder. The First Claim Setting: Select Player PermissionsClaim permissions: Note if you set Default claims permissions everyone on the world gets that exact permission best to leave that at visitor unless you have a good reason.
World Admins and Owners have the ability to see into your chests, teleporters, machines and pets. But if you have a kind owner and trustworthy admins they likely wont steal from you. The Second Claim Setting: The Hammer IconThe hammer icon allows you to go into the claim settings and change the default permissions, firespread, corruption spread, if you can pvp and if you can tnt on that claim. The system usually alerts you to haveing to change the tnt setting if its disabled. Pvp disabled in a claim will override the worlds pvp setting same with the tnt so if a world has pvp enabled you can claim to keep a save haven. The only known setting I can think of that doesnt worl is corruption spread, if the world has that setting off it doesnt work on claims either. Note leave default claim permissions to visitor if you dont want everyone in the world to be able to say build in your claim. The Third Claim Setting: The Trashcan IconThe last icon is the trash can icon, it allows you to unclaim your spot and the claim returns to you so you can move it to another spot without having to respend resources to get it back. Unclaiming and reclaming can reset all your permissions for chests, pets and such. General World Permissions Affecting Claims or Claiming LandUpon going into a world with Visitor only on you are unable to build, attack (the smash ability works for visitors) and claim land. But if you say put your claim on builders even that visitor can build on your claim. Even chests set to everyone allow a visitor to be able to peek inside and just take everything you put in there claimed land or not. Best solution is to make sure every chest and pet you own are builders permission and up. Claimed items that have permissions will be locked out from anyone but admins, owners and anyone given permission on that claim. You May Also Like:
Roam a Voxel based sandbox game and craft your own world the way you like it by yourself or with friends. Brings cube based adventure gaming a step higher with high-tech gameplay and awesome graphics. Experience an amazing hybrid of a game with regular awesome animation mixed with a Voxel based world. The novelty of being able to craft and build your own game world has led to the popularity of the digital sandbox. More and more titles and mods are being released as a result of MineCraft’s rise to stardom.
Dear diary toy. However, Voxel based sandbox gaming does not end there. It is not uncommon to mix game types or kinds every now and then to produce hybrid games that either extend or bring the gaming experience to a much higher level. The combination of RPG and RTS which made games like StarCraft, Warcraft or even League of Legends attain such popularity does provide a game experience beyond the regular RPG or just plain RTS titles.
Texas based game company Playful Corp. Has just brought the Voxel cubed based MineCraft build-your-own-world experience into a new age or way of doing things which includes a way attractively high-tech Sci-Fi look one would never expect in a game like MineCraft. CreatiVerse is a Voxel based MineCraft looking game that at first sight could be taken in as a clone of the latter but kind of alters the look and feel of the game though still retains the core principles of MineCraft crafting and world creation. You still have to gather blocks of items like wood, sand, stone and others to craft on a crafting table in order to build weapons, structures, shelter and the like.
You still have to gather food and plants and whatever is needed for your potions and energy requirements to survive in the game. The Mobs are still there roaming the game world and some still very dangerous as ever. It’s still bright in the day and dark at night and scanning the terrain at a distance will still give you that blocky look. However, aside from these and other similar features to MineCraft, the comparison takes a turn and goes way lot deeper. Gone is your Lego like avatar. Gone are the Lego like Mobs.
The developers of this game offer you a little bit to become a pilot of various air transport. Constantly changing weather conditions will conquer all lovers of beautiful simulators on android devices. Fly to other countries of the world and carry out the tasks assigned to you. You always and at any time can change your transport, from a large airliner to a high-speed fighter. Airports in the game fully in minute detail correspond to reality, as they are an exact copy. Gone is the Lego like crafting table and most of all, gone is your Lego like hand! The avatar, gosh!
It’s like looking at Ben 10. Groovy The Mobs are so cool, the blocky pig has been replaced by these cute yellow Pigsy’s with stripes. Others like the green leaf like mob, the crab with its deadly spinning attack and much much more create an awesome graphic experience. They are not Voxel based but regular animated characters that really kind of look like refugees from Ben 10.
The crafting table is not the same blocky contraption anymore but looks like something unloaded from a spaceship. It’s got this cyber-robotic assembly unit look that moves as well as another similar device which you have to build called the processor. In order to build you will of course collect materials so you will need tools like the pickaxe or shovel and the old trusty club.
Except for the club, the tools you need are already on your awesome looking gauntleted hand. It’s called a Matter Siphon and all you really have to do is extend your hand towards the item or block to collect be it wood, sand or other blocky items that your gauntlet will vacuum-suck and energy convert to be stored in your inventory. The club you will still need as you’ll have to take a swing at the mobs if you need to and you still don’t have a crafted sword. MineCraft is already a sort of adventure game in itself and so is CreatiVerse with an added mix of regular non-voxel first-person adventure. However, in order to collect advanced items, you will need to create power cells for your gauntlet.
Crafting is almost the same as MineCraft where you build needed items on the crafting table using the collected stuff from your inventory. Combat is the same swing your weapon moves. The sword is still the basic weapon with the game still being in Alpha but upcoming updates will definitely bring more improvement to the game. You still travel the game and get to different locations by basically walking but now, teleporting has been made easy.
You have access to teleporters and you have a touchstone in your inventory that will take you to a chosen spawn position or the location of your shelter if you link it there. Multi-player servers are also available for those who want to play and team-up with friends. The game is now available free-2-play on Steam and has already gathered a sizable following. There are many similarities as well as differences to MineCraft and it would really be kind of difficult to describe the features of the game without reference to the former. Overall, CreatiVerse is a wonderful game.
Though still in it’s early version, the game will definitely give MineCraft some stiff competition specially when it gets adopted to Virtual and Augmented reality which is not far in the near future. For those of you who enjoyed creating in MineCraft, those who enjoy Sandbox Gaming and those who want to try it out, if you have Windows 7 and up and the necessary PC requirements, maybe it would be best to download it now while it’s still free-2-play. The game has a store feature for micro-transactions but according to the developers, one doesn’t really need to spend to enjoy the game. Let’s hope it stays that way.
